So fun!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>We decided to scent our slime with a nice <a target=\"_blank\">Christmas tree essential oil blend<\/a>. It smells so great, although it&rsquo;s completely optional. I think <a target=\"_blank\">peppermint essential oil<\/a> would smell nice, too.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>There are a few ways to make slime, but we like using contact solution. Make sure the brand you use contains boric acid and sodium borate, so it&rsquo;ll work as an activator. For an alternative, try using 1\/2 cup of liquid starch like&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\">Stay-Flo<\/a>&nbsp;instead of contact solution and baking soda.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Slime can last for weeks if stored in a tightly covered container.
